Doom-Bull gives you Wings! (part 2)

I got to admit I am so pleased with how this model is finally taking shape. The wings are near completion. I’ve spent most of my free time (which I’ve had much of lately) working on filling the gaps under each of the feathers to ready them for casting. There’s still a bit of filling and the top edges need detailing, and I intend to resculpt the details in one or two places where I’m not entirely satisfied with them. The whole wing making process (shown in my previous post), is pretty straightforward and the gap filling process wouldn’t be necessary if I wasn’t going to cast them. I still need to sculpt the skin of the “limb” that actually attaches the wings to the model but that should be a no-brainer.

Only thing left to do now is the hands and hooves and maybe a few accessories.

I love the detail on the wings! Might end up buying a pair.

But on a personal note, I do not think they work work on the Doom-Bull :S

I got to admit I’m not 100% certain about them either, and I do like the Doombull without them too. I will keep working at it though. Maybe a good paintjob will help visually tie the wings into the rest of the model.

        One could hope.

What I find odd after looking at it some more is that it make him wery back heavy. And the charging look he have whitout does not surport that well.

And sorry for any spell misstakes i have made.

I love the wings and think that a set would work quite well for a conversion I have planned.  Do you have any idea when you will begin casting them?  I want to get started on the project as a Christmas present for a close friend so I’ll buy them as soon as you can cast them.  Any chance of getting an email update when they are ready?
