For me the recent work on two new Warhammer 40,000 video games is a great place to find inspiration for what a Space Marine should look like. I personally can’t wait to get my hands on both of these games but I guess it’ll be quite a while yet.

For those who haven’t seen the trailers yet, check out the Space Marines and how awesomely proportioned they are (yes I know I’m obsessed, but someone has to be). Also that Nurgle Daemon in Dark Milllenium is all kinds of ubber!

When you have imagery like this as well as GW’s own artwork, it really does show just how much the Space Marine model range needs adjusting. I realize that for most people this is just me being pedantic, but when you spend the kind of money most of us do on this hobby, I guess my question is;

“Why don’t the models look as impressive as the artwork?”
